A RINGWOOD supermarket has been the target of another alcohol shoplifting spree, with hundreds of pounds stolen.
Police have released a CCTV photo of a man they want to find, more than three weeks after a thief stole alcohol worth £373 from Waitrose on The Furlong on Saturday, November 9, between 2.11pm and 2.26pm.
Liquor thieves have repeatedly targeted the store, with at least five such shoplifting incidents since July.
People are being urged to come forward to help identify the man pictured in connection with the November 9 theft.
He is white, about 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, with brown hair and a beard.
He was wearing a long blue coat, a white shirt, black pants and shoes.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We believe the man in this image can assist our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to contact us.
“If you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have CCTV, mobile phone, dashcam or doorbell camera footage that could assist our investigation, please contact us.”
